Whats The Diff Between Green And Yellow Bars

Palak dal or yellow lentils on Indian

Simple Food , with lots of nutritional value. Excellent with rice, naan breads, roti. Recipe here

Palak dal-yellow lentils
the Yellow lentils 1 cup yellow split pea-
morzonego 1 cup spinach
1 cm piece fresh ginger
1 teaspoon turmeric
pinch hing-asafoetidy
sol
pinch of red chili
2 green chilies
1 tablespoon curry leaves
1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds Indian
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 tomato
1 / 2 tsp garam masala
1 teaspoon oil
1 / 2 tsp ghee (optional)
fresh coriander (optional)


In Place pan with spinach of lentils. Add finely chopped ginger, turmeric and a pinch of soli.Zalej cold water. Boil. Reduce fire. Cook for about half an hour until soft lentils. On a flat frying pan heat the oil. Put mustard. When you start to splutter, add cumin seeds and cut into slices with chilli, hing, red chilli powder, curry leaves and garlic. Fry for a minute intensive mix. Add finely diced tomato. When after a few minutes, it will be already disintegrating add a whole to a pot of lentils. Mix well. Season to taste garam masala, salt and ghee. Serve a sprig of cilantro.
